Find, change and preview
Read the estimated key and BPM, or go straight to changing pitch and tempo. Listen preview processes the first 20 seconds of your source, or all of a shorter track.
Choose a format and download
When you are happy with the settings, download the full track in your chosen format. Sign in to save the chat and return to your results or editing progress.
Know what you are changing
Key is the musical tonal center, such as D major or A minor. Pitch is how high or low a sound is. A song key changer shifts the recording’s pitches together; it does not turn a minor arrangement into major or correct individual notes.
Tempo describes the pace, usually measured in BPM. Our pitch and tempo controls work independently: leave tempo at 100% to change pitch without changing speed, or leave pitch at 0 semitones to change BPM without changing the key.
Use a lower key for an existing karaoke backing track, a slower pace for learning a passage, or key and BPM detection when preparing samples. Detection is an estimate: key changes, unusual tuning and an unclear beat can affect the result.
Questions before you start
Can I find the key and BPM of a song for free?
Yes. Upload an audio file and choose Find pitch / tempo after preparation. Both estimates appear in the chat. Guest and account limits are listed below.
Can I change pitch and tempo separately?
Yes. Shift pitch by up to 12 semitones in either direction and set tempo between 75% and 125%. You can change one control while leaving the other at its original value.
Does it work as an MP3 pitch changer and speed changer?
Yes. You can upload MP3 and other supported formats, preview your settings, then export the full recording as MP3, WAV, FLAC or another available format.
Does the preview change the whole file?
Listen preview processes only the opening excerpt. Download full track applies your chosen pitch and tempo to the full recording and converts it to the format you select.
Do I need to install an app or create an account?
No app installation is needed. You can start as a guest in your browser. A free account lets you save progress and increases the new-chat allowance.
Can I save the result and continue later?
Sign in to keep your chat, detected values, editing settings and completed audio in your account. Guest files expire after 24 hours.

Upload an MP3, WAV, M4A, AAC, FLAC, OGG, Opus, AIFF or WMA file. Each track can be up to 100 MB and 5 minutes long. A readable audio recording is required; an unsupported, damaged or protected file may not open.

Start free without signing up: guests can open 3 new chats per 24 hours. A free account allows 5 new chats per hour and saves your progress. Files are uploaded to our server for processing. Guest files expire after 24 hours; audio saved to your account remains available until you remove it.
Your audio and your account
Files are processed on our server. We do not publish your uploads or use your audio to train AI models. A free account lets you return to saved results, previews and completed tracks; email verification and password recovery help you keep access to it.
We use essential cookies and browser storage to keep you signed in and remember your audio session. Optional Google Analytics measures page visits and use of our tools only when you allow it. You can change your choice through Cookie settings. We do not send audio, filenames, chat text or email addresses to Analytics.
