A few simple ground rules.
- Use audio you own or have permission to process.
- Keep your original files and check your results before using them.
- The tools are free, with the usage limits shown on the site.
1. About these terms
These Terms & Conditions apply to your use of Pitch Tempo at pitch-tempo.online. “Pitch Tempo”, “we” and “us” refer to the operator of this service. By uploading audio or creating an account after being shown these terms, you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not upload files or create an account.
You must be at least 16 years old and able to enter this agreement under the law that applies to you. If you need a parent or guardian’s permission, obtain it first. For questions, use our contact form.
2. What the service does
Pitch Tempo provides online musical key and BPM estimates, independent pitch and tempo changes, short previews and full-track exports. Analysis results are estimates. A track with changing tempo, an unclear beat, unusual tuning or key changes may not have one reliable answer.
Pitch changes currently range from −12 to +12 semitones, and tempo changes from 75% to 125%. A preview uses the first 20 seconds of source audio, or all of a shorter track. Its playback length changes with tempo. Full export applies your settings to the complete uploaded recording.
Sound quality and format support depend on the source and settings. We cannot promise a particular result or support for every file that has an audio extension. You are responsible for checking the output before relying on it.
3. Free access and fair-use limits
The current tools are free. Uploads must be no larger than 100 MB and no longer than 5 minutes. Guests can start 3 new chats per rolling 24 hours; registered users can start 5 per rolling hour. Guest limits are shared by visitors using the same network identity. These limits count accepted uploads, not messages or previews within an existing chat.
Requests may be queued, delayed or refused when the service is busy or a file is damaged, unsupported or outside the limits. Please do not bypass limits, automate bulk abuse, introduce malware, probe other users’ files or interfere with the service.
4. Your audio and permissions
You retain any rights you have in your uploaded audio. By uploading it, you give us the limited permission needed to store it, make working copies, analyze it, apply your requested changes and provide previews and downloads. This permission is only for operating the service and maintaining the copies described in our Privacy Policy.
You must own the audio or have the necessary permission or other lawful basis to upload and process it, including any personal information it contains. Processing a recording does not give you new copyright, publishing, performance or distribution rights. You are responsible for how you use or share the result.
We do not publish your audio or use it to train AI models. Do not upload illegal content or content that infringes someone else’s rights. If you believe your rights have been infringed, contact us with enough detail to identify the material and your concern.
5. Accounts and saved work
Use an email address you control, complete verification and keep your password and security codes private. Tell us if you suspect unauthorized access. You can use the guest tools without registering.
Guest files are available for 24 hours after upload. Signed-in users can save their chats, settings and results. You can remove saved chats from history or contact us to request account deletion. The Privacy Policy explains retention and deletion, including the recovery period for removed chats.
Pitch Tempo is a working audio tool, not a permanent backup service. Download results you want to keep and retain your original files. Interruptions, maintenance or technical problems can affect availability.
6. Privacy and cookies
Our Privacy Policy explains the information used to provide this service, essential cookies and browser storage, retention and your choices. Accepting these terms is not consent to advertising or optional tracking. We will ask separately for any optional consent that is required.
7. Availability and changes
We may maintain, improve or change features and limits, or temporarily suspend the service. We may restrict accounts or uploads that breach these terms, create a security risk or require action by law. Where practical, we will explain material restrictions and provide a way to contact us.
If we plan to remove saved-work functionality or close the service, we will aim to give reasonable notice and an opportunity to download your files. This may not be possible in an urgent security or legal situation. A future paid feature would require clearly disclosed pricing and your agreement before a charge.
8. Responsibility
We aim to provide a useful, reliable service, but do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, perfect detection or a particular audio quality. To the extent permitted by applicable law, the free service is provided on an “as available” basis, and we are not responsible for indirect losses such as lost profits or opportunities arising from its use.
Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, or limits any mandatory consumer or data protection rights. The laws and courts that must apply to you continue to apply; these terms do not require you to give up those protections.
9. Updates and contact
We may update these terms as the service develops. The date at the top shows the current version. We will highlight material changes where appropriate and seek renewed agreement when required. Changes will not remove rights you already have under mandatory law.
For support, privacy requests or concerns about these terms, contact Pitch Tempo. We aim to review messages within 48 hours, excluding weekends.
