A free route to a finished audio file

If your immediate task is to prepare a slower recording or move a backing track into another key, Pitch Tempo puts that task in a browser. Upload the recording, choose the pitch and tempo settings, listen to a preview and download the complete result. A guest can start without creating an account.

Transcribe! is sold as desktop software after its evaluation period. Pitch Tempo’s processing and downloads are free within the published upload allowances, so there is no license purchase to complete this workflow.

Take the changed track into your practice

Start with a steady 120 BPM track and choose 75% tempo to make a 90 BPM copy. Leave pitch at 0 semitones to keep the key. Or change the key independently while leaving tempo at 100%. Save the result and use it in your usual player or rehearsal setup.

Transcribe! also provides detailed transcription aids such as loops, markers and note/chord analysis. This page compares the shared pitch-and-tempo task; Pitch Tempo focuses on preparing the audio file and does not offer phrase looping or notation generation.

Sound quality comes first

Our focus is clear, natural-sounding audio after a pitch or tempo change. Preview the opening of your recording before export, then download the complete result. WAV and FLAC preserve the processed audio without another lossy encoding step; MP3 offers a compact listening copy.

Keep a copy of the original and choose the smallest change that achieves your musical goal. The source recording and the amount of change affect the final sound.
