# Pitch Tempo

> Pitch Tempo is a free online audio tool for finding a song's musical key and tempo in BPM, changing pitch and tempo independently, previewing changes, and downloading the edited recording.

The official website is https://pitch-tempo.online/. All audio tools run on the home page in a guided chat interface. The other pages explain the service. The interface is in English and requires no app installation. Start by uploading an audio file from your device; streaming URLs and song-title lookup are not supported.

Key and BPM detection considers the full uploaded recording and returns estimates, not guaranteed results. Pitch can be changed from -12 to +12 semitones; tempo from 75% to 125%. Keeping tempo at 100% preserves speed while pitch changes; keeping pitch at 0 semitones preserves pitch while tempo changes. Preview uses the opening 20 seconds of source audio, or the full source if shorter. Full export applies the selected settings to the entire recording.

Uploads must be readable audio, no larger than 100 MB and no longer than 5 minutes. Supported common input and output formats include MP3, WAV, M4A, AAC, FLAC, OGG, Opus, AIFF and WMA. A damaged, protected or unsupported file may not open. Guest access allows 3 new chats per 24 hours; a free account allows 5 per hour and saves progress. Audio is uploaded to the server for processing. Guest files expire after 24 hours. Uploads are not published or used to train AI models.
